Python Programming: Today’s session covered the topic of modules in Python. Although the material was largely review, it provided a valuable opportunity to revisit built-in functions that had gradually faced from memory. Given that Python itself presents few conceptual difficulties, it is anticipated that examinations will likely focus on peripheral or detail-oriented content rather than core concepts.
Discrete Mathematics: The subject of combinatorial theory was examined in today’s study session. Despite its academic framing, the content fundamentally revisited permuations, combinations, and probability topics that were studied extensively in high school statistics. Remarkably, a significant portion of the previously acquired knowledge resurfaced with relative ease, suggesting that the foundational understanding remians intact.
Work
The entirety of today’s working hours was dedicated to configuring and deploying a production server for an ongoing proejct. As I held full owenrship of the process from inception to completion, there was a genuine sense of excitement in building a server that would operate in a live environment. Notably, it was the first time I became aware that SSL certificates are commonly purchased directly through domain registrars in professional setting a pracing that differed from my prior experiene of relying solely on ACM. The server infrastructure was configured using Nginx with SSL, while the frontend was deployed via Cloudfront, utilizing ACM accordingly.
Workout
Due to persistent inflammation in both the knee and Achilles tendon over the past several weeks, maintaining a consistent training schedule has proven difficult. Nevertheless, a strong desire to train prompted me to proceed with a combined Pull & Push session today, despite the ongoing discomfort. Additionally, having recently received an injection in the lower back, there was some concern regarding back exercises. However, the session was completed without significant impediment, which was a welcome outcome.
